Similar to how the categories work on the mega map, you can easily select a location to view all the business types in a selected area.
When determining how we divide up the map into searchable locations we have tried to group business into areas that strike a balance between accuracy and simplicity.
For example, Pattaya Soi 6, off of Beach Road has enough bars in this location to have its own solo location category, similar to Walking Street or LK Metro. Whereas Soi 8 off of Beach Rd doesn’t have enough bars on its own to warrant a unique category and so has been grouped with Pattaya Soi 7.
Some businesses have also been given multiple location tags if they are located on a corner between two unique locations, for example, Climax, which is on both Soi Buakhao and LK metro, will appear if either of those location filters are applied.
2nd Rd
Second Road in Pattaya runs in a North to South direction parallel to Beach Rd. Together they form part of Pattayas one way system, with traffic running from the south end of 2nd road starting from Pattaya Tai Road or South Pattaya Road up to Pattaya Nuea Road, North Pattaya Road.
3rd Rd
Third Road also runs parallel to both Beach Road and 2nd Road, between Pattaya Nuea and Pattaya Tai. Mostly Thai-style bars can be found along 3rd Rd.
Beach Road
Probably the most iconic road in Pattaya Beach road as the name suggests runs the length of Pattaya Beach. Several bars are dotted along Beach Road from cheaper beer bars to high-end rooftop bars.
LK Metro
Over the years LK metro has grown into somewhat of a replacement walking street. Although it doesn’t have as many bars or clubs as Walking Street, LK Metro does boast some of the best bars in Pattaya.
Soi 6
Located on the north end of Beach Road, Soi 6 runs away from the beach to 2nd Road. Aside from the odd exception most of the bars along Soi 6 are Girly Bars.
Soi 7 & 8
Soi 7 and Soi 8 also run away from the beach towards 2nd Road from the south end of Beach Road. Most of the bars found in this area are beer bars or smaller box-style beer bars.
Soi 13 – 13/2
Soi’s 13, 13/1 & 13/2 don’t quite muster up enough bars to get their own separate locations but they do host a good mix of bars from beer bars, and sports bars to cannabis cafes for the area to be a worthwhile visit.
Similar to Soi 7 & 8, these sois are towards the south end of beach road running to 2nd Road.
Soi Boomerang
Soi Boomerang is a right angle-shaped soi that cuts the corner of Soi Buakhao and Soi Diana. A number of gentleman’s club style bars can be found here along with a couple of later beer bars.
Soi Buakhao
Soi Buakhao runs north to south from Pattaya Thai to Pattaya Klang, Pattaya’s central road. It could be best described as two and a half road as it is easy to find on the map located between 2nd and 3rd road.
Soi Buakhao has a bit of everything with many more bar soi’s leading off it.
Soi Chaiyapoon (Pothole)
Leading from Soi Buakhao to 3rd road Soi Chaiyaoon is an unofficial soi and therefore not managed by the local government, which leads to its nickname of Soi Pothole from its lack of maintenance.
Similar to Soi Boomerang this soi hosts a good number of Gentalmans clubs and beer bars.
Soi Honey
Soi Honey gets its name for hosting the original Honey 1 Body Massage.
The Soi runs between 2nd Rd and Soi Buakhao and is half massage shops and half bars.
Soi Lengkee
Running from Soi Buakhao to 3rd Rd, Soi Lengkee runs parralel to Soi Chaiyapoon (Pothole). This soi has a good number of beer bars but also a good number of restaurants if you’re looking for food.
Soi Made In Thailand
Soi Made in Thailand is a dead-end soi off of Soi Buakhao, although it is possible to walk through to Tree Town from this soi. You will primarily find small box-bar style beer-bars here.
Soi New Plaza
Soi New Plaza is a Y-shaped soi running from 2nd Road to Soi Buakhao.
If you’re looking for a more relaxed soi then New Plaza is worth a visit.
Tree Town
Tree Town has emerged as a sort of post covid success story with more than half of the bar buildings not existing pre covid. Now it’s a go-to location for cheap food and Beer-Bars as a starting point before heading down Soi Buakhao to LK metro.
